I have been a safety officer and I have seen numerous accidents resulted from violation of safety practices or no provision of safety measures. It is unfortunate that many of the accidents can be prevented if the top management takes a serious view on safety and the workers practice safety during works.

Personally, I view safety as the top most consideration in my daily life. I preach safety to my family, my colleagues and every one I know of. I relate true stories of the tragic accidents that have lost the precious lives. I believe in :

A) TO BE SAFE THAN SORRY

B) PREVENTION IS BETTER THAN CURE

C) SAFETY IS THE BASIC RESPONSIBILITY OF EVERYONE

D) SAFETY IS TO ADOPT PROACTIVE APPROACH TO PREVENT ACCIDENTS
